ICRA assigns highest credit quality to IL

New Delhi, July 31 (UNI) Credit rating agency ICRA today assigned LAAA rating to the Rs 375 crore long term debt programme of Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services (IL&FS).

The rating is the highest-credit-quality assigned by ICRA.

However, IL&FS is a non-banking finance company with shareholders like Central Bank of India, HDFC, LIC, State Bank of India etc with objectives to stimulate and finance infrastructure projects in the country.
