Elderly couple killed by servant

New Delhi, July 31 (UNI) A septugenarian couple was allegedly murdered by their servant in East Park area of Central Delhi.

A retired Income Tax Officer Ved Raj Grover (72) and his wife Vimla (70) were found lying dead at their East Park residence on Desh Bandhu Gupta Road this morning by their driver, according to sources.

Their neck had been slashed.

Police found the house ransacked with belongings scattered all over the place.

Their servant Sikander (19), who hails from Asom, is missing. He had been hired from a Green Park placement agency just four days back, The couple have two daughters and a son Sanjiv who runs an export house from his residence in Mansarovar Park.

Investigations are on and teams sent to trace the servant, police added.
