Efforts to nab the accused in progress

Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu July 31 (UNI) Police are on the look out for a person, who stabbed his wife and injured here, here today.

Police said the accused Arjunan(35) often had confrontation with his wife Kamatchi(25) suspecting her of having an illicit relationship. In a heated argument with her,the enraged husband stabbed her on the head.

The bleeding wife was admitted to the Government Hospital here.

Arjunan hails from Tirupati and is blessed with a seven-year-old son and a three-year-old daughter.

A case has been registered.
