Court directs CBI to submit case diary on Abhaya murder case

Kochi, July 31 (UNI) A local court today directed the CBI to produce before it the case diary relating to the investigation of sister Abhaya murder case on August 7.

The Chief Judicial Magistrate has also summoned the investigating officer R R Sahay of Crime Branch unit of the CBI, New Delhi, on the same day.

The CBI submitted a final report in the case seeking permission to close the investigation on August 30.

The case related to the alleged murder of sister Abhaya, an inmate of the Pious X convent in Kottayam, on March 27, 1992.
