CM announces Rs five lakh for Navnath Phartade

Mumbai, July 31 (UNI) Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh announced financial assistance of Rs five lakh to Mr Navnath Phartade, who won the gold medal in the world level shooting competition at Zagred, Croatia.

Phartade has, so far, won eight international prizes and a proposal has also been submitted to give service to him in the government by sports and youth welfare department, according to an official release here today.
