Bharat Electronics Q1 net up by 6.5 pc to Rs 60 cr

Mumbai, July 31 (UNI) The state owned Bharat Electronics has posted a net profit of Rs 60.27 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, as compared to Rs 56.59 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005, a rise of 6.50 per cent.

The company said its total income has increased from Rs 508.94 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005, to Rs 521.51 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.
