BCCI to introduce ratings system, tender for overseas Ground Rights
New Delhi, July 31 (UNI) Taking a cue from the ICC, BCCI has decided to introduce its rankings system and tender for an event management group to produce and execute the ratings and awards for the next five years would be floated on August 3.
After the BCCI Marketing Sub-Committee meeting here on Friday, BCCI Vice President Lalit Modi, also Chairman of the subommittee, announced that the board would float three new tenders from its Mumbai office on August 3.
Apart from finding an event management group for the BCCI Ratings and Awards, tenders would be released for the appointment of an Official Provider for Team India's formal wear and accessories and a BCCI partner to market and sell the Ground Rights at all Overseas Neutral Venue Matches - all for the September 2006 to August 2011 period.
The tenders will be available from 1030 hrs on August 3 at the BCCI office in Mumbai.
''The bids will be opened and the winners announced at the BCCI Marketing Sub-Committee in chennai on August 14,'' a Board release said.
