APSCHE Chairman releases book on Banjaras

Visakhapatnam, Jul 31(UNI) Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) Chairman K C Reddy today released 'Banjaarala Charitra' authoured by B Kusuma Kumari in A U Telugu department, Andhralo Vikasa Parasthanam.

Speaking after releasing the book here, he said there was a need to bring out books on the historical development and contributions of various communities, tribes and religions towards unity and integration in the country.

Mr Reddy said the Banjara (tribe) had contributed to diversity of the country and complimented the author for bringing out the book.

Andhra University Vice Chancellor L Venugopal Reddy said the varsity was encouraging its scholars and faculty to publish more books and added that the Telugu department had contributed to the literary rennaissance in the state, he added.
