APL net up by 57.8 pc for Q1 FY07

New Delhi, July 31 (UNI) Alps Industries Ltd (AIL), a yarn manufacturing company, today posted an increase of 57.8 per cent in its net profit at Rs 7.12 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2006, as against Rs 4.51 crores in the corresponding period last fiscal.

ALP, however, registered 79.40 per cent growth in its turnover at Rs 93.11 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 51.90 crore for the same period last year.
