AP has less rains
Hyderabad, July 31 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh witnessed lower rainfall today as the low pressure over North Chhattisgarh moved west-north-west and lay over north-west Madhya Pradesh.
Hyderabad Meteorological Centre Director M Satyakumar told UNI that light to moderate rainfall/thundershowers were likely at a few places in Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam Districts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Isolated rainfall/thundershowers were likely over Telangana, Rayalaseema and remaining districts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
There were chances of one or two spells of rain/thundershowers in parts of the sState capital.
Rainfall occurred at a few places over Telangana with isolated showers over Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry over Rayalaseema.
The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in cm were Kaleswaram, Nirmal, Sirpur, Sriramsagar (three each) and Asifabad, Bheemgal and Manthani (two each).
