AI to operate additional flight to Jeddah to beat rush

Kozhikode, Jul 31 (UNI) The National Carrier Air India (AI) will operate an additional flight from Karippur International Airport near here to Jeddah on August 19 to clear the heavy rush.

Flight No AI 5963 will leave Karippur at 0505 hrs and reach Jeddah at 0755 hrs, AI Station Manager Sunil Deshmukh said in a release here today.

Mr Deshmukh said the flight, introduced to clear heavy rush of passengers, in view of re-opening of schools in Jeddah, could be utilised by those, who purchased return tickets from Jeddah.

Passengers can contact AI offices in Malabar region for availing the facility, he added.
