Three undertrials escape sub-jail

Ratlam, MP, July 20 (UNI) Three undertrials have escaped from sub-jail at Sailana town in this district while Collector Dipti Gaud had come for planting a tree, police said today.

The undertrials, who had come out of the jail premises, pushed the jailor and threw stones before fleeing.

Jalu and Sakuda were being tried for murder and loot respectively, while Shantu was an undertrial under the Arms Act.

A head constable was suspended after the incident. The Collector has ordered magisterial inquiry into the case.
