Rs 126 crore bounty announced for Infoscions
Mysore, July 30 (UNI) IT bellwether Infosys today announced a Rs 126 crore bounty to its over 50,000 employees to mark its silver jubilee celebrations.
Announcing the bonanza at the inaugural of the year-long silver jubilee celebrations of the company, Infosys Chairman and Chief Mentor N R Narayana Murthy said the trustees of Infosys Employees Welfare Trust had decided to donate from the corpus Rs 126 crore to all the beneficiaries.
He said the benefit to employees would depend on their tenure in the establishment and this would be communicated to them.
The celebrations that would go on till December this year was inaugurated at the global training centre here by Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram and Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy.
