R Systems Q2 FY07 net up by 98 pc
New Delhi, July 30 (UNI) R Systems International Ltd, an outsourced product development and customer support services provider today registered an increase of 98 per cent in its net profit at Rs 5.29 crore during the second quarter ended June 30, 2006, as against Rs 2.67 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The company's income also rose by 26.9 per cent at Rs 49.55 crores in Q2FY07 as compared to Rs 39.04 crore in Q2FY06.
''We are very pleased to report record revenues for the quarter and increasing our profits,'' company's Chairman and Managing Director Rekhi Singh said.
We expanded in all our service offerings during the quarter and made foray into the healthcare sector with several new relationships, he added.
The business performance in the concluded quarter has been remarkable as R Systems added 27 new customers in their client portfolio.
The company recently announced of acquiring a US-based technical support company WebConverse, for 10.7 million dollars within the next three weeks.
