Hindustan Petroleum Corp Q1 net loss at Rs 607.67 cr

Mumbai, July 26 (UNI) The state owned Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) has posted a net loss of Rs 607.67 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, as compared to net loss of Rs 507.89 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005.

The company said its total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 15,143.71 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005, to Rs 20,776.19 crore for quarter ended June 30, 2006.
