Batch of 640 yatris leaves for Amarnath shrine

Jammu, July 26: A fresh batch of 640 pilgrims today left from here for darshan of 'ice shivlingam' at holy cave shrine in the himalayas.

Official sources told uni that batch, comprising 367 men, 106 women, 14 children and 153 sadhus, amid chanting religious hymns and slogans, was given a warm flag off at ma stadium in the morning.

The sources said the pilgrims left in the fleet of 18 vehicles, including 14 heavy and four light vehicles, under tight security.
