Youth died due to heavy drink

Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, July 25 (UNI) A 30-year-old youth died and another hospitalised after they consumed arrack at Gundugolanu village of Bhimadole mandal in the West Godavari district today.

Following a bet between K Srinivas and T Durga Rao over consuming one and half litre of arrack, both took the liquor last evening.

Due to excessive drinking, Srinivas died this morning, while his friend Durga Rao was admitted to a hospital in a critical condition, police said.
