Special force to tackle disasters like Prince episode

Kurukshetra, July 25 (UNI) Taking a cue from the Prince episode, the Haryana administration has decided to raise a special force for tackling the ''adverse as well as emergent situations'' which will be equipped with all modern safety equipments and appliances.

Haryana Chief Secretary Prem Prashand said this force would take immediate action at the time of a disastrous situation the kind of which developed when five-year-old Prince fell into a 60-feet bore well at Haldehra village in Kurukshetra.

Mr Prem Prashant was talking to media persons at the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital, Kurukshetra after enquiring about the well being of Prince.

He said the Haryana government understood the value of the life of every individual, rich or poor and this sense of responsibilty guided it to spare no efforts to save the life of Prince.

Appreciating the safety measures to save Prince, the Chief Secretary congratulated the army, administration, villagers and other volunteers who succeeded in saving the life of the little boy.

He said special measures would be taken in future to face such situations boldly, he added.

The Chief Secretary got first-hand information from the doctors about the health of Prince. He gave fruits and toys for Prince.
