One person dies, 4 injured in lightning in West Bengal

Balurghat, Jul 25 (UNI) A 17-year-old man died after a thunder lightning struck him at Hajichalk village under Gangarampur police station area of South Dinajpur today.

Four of Mati Miah's freinds, who also fell victim to the lightning, were seriously injured and rushed to Balurghat District Hospital.

Superientendent of the District Hospital Ashok Biswas said that Mati had sustained severe burns and died on the spot.
