Free course for civil defence volunteers

Hyderabad, July 25 (UNI) The Basic Civil Defence Volunteers Course is proposed to be conducted for the citizens of the twin cities.

According to a release here, the duration of the course will be five working days. The volunteers will be trained in fire fighting, rescue operations, first aid and air raid precaution.

The course is open to those in the age group of 15 to 45 years with a minimum educational qualification of primary school.

The course is free of cost and the volunteers will be awarded a certificate on successful completion of the training.
