DD B'lore comes up with innovative legal news prog

Bangalore, July 25 (UNI) The Doordarshan Kendra, Bangalore, has planned to telecast 'Kaoonu Varthe,' an innovative weekly legal news programme from July 29, highlighting landmark judgments delivered by the Karnataka High Court and the Central Administrative Tribunal.

In a release here today, Kendra Deputy Director A S Chandramouli said the innovative new programme, first of its kind in the country, would be inagurated by Karnataka High Court Chief Justice Cyriac Joseph.

'Kanoonu Varthe' would be telecast on all Saturdays for ten minutes from 2120 hrs, he added.
