Agitating Advocates arrested

Dharwad, July 25 (UNI) Over 15 lawyers were arrested when they attempted to gherao state law minister Basavaraj Horatti protesting the delay over implementation of circuit bench of Karnataka High Court in here.

Meanwhile the relay hunger strike by the members of Dharwad Bar Association continued for the Sixth day today. The minister was to attend a function organised in the city when these lawyer tried to gherao and were taken in to custody by the police near jubilee circle.

The other members of the bar went in procession to government office complex and forced their closure and students of law college staged rasta roko affecting the vehicular traffic between Hubli and Dharwad for some time.
