12-year-old Hoax caller arrested

New Delhi, July 25 (UNI) A twelve-year-old boy has been arrested from North East Delhi for making hoax bomb calls to the Police control room.

Police said Rashid (name changed) was arrested yesterday for making a hoax call on July 23 at about 1400 hrs that an explosive will go off in Seelampur market.

Police said he had admitted to making the call after watching a news item on television about hoax calls.

Further investigations are in progress.
