Tulsi, Bhatsa begin overflowing
Mumbai, July 24 (UNI) Water reservoirs Tulsi and Bhatsa, which supply drinking water to the city, have started overflowing since yesterday.
The Tulsi lake has started overflowing at 1800 hrs yesterday, while Bhatsa has cross its danger level at 2030 hrs last night and started overflowing from this morning, according to a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) release here today.
Another lake Modak Sagar has already started overflowing earlier in this month.
The water-level in other lakes such as Tansa, Vehar Upper Vaitarna has also reached the overflow level, the release added.
