Six police personnel suspended

Saharsa, Jul 22: Six police personnel, inclduing an Assistant Sub-Inspector, have been suspended for escorting former MP Anand Mohan to Dehra Dun from Saharsa Jail.

Police Superintendent Wasimuddin Ahmad here today said the senior police official, Ganga Ram Hansda, had escorted Mr Mohan to Dehra Dun for production in a court even after the date for production had lapsed.

Earlier, after a probe the jailer was suspended in this connection.
