Kolkata to experience moderate rainfall

Kolkata, Jul 22: The city today experienced drizzles in the morning today which continued for hours.

The met department have forecast moderate rainfall in the next 24 hours and have warned the coastal areas of heavy thunder showers as there is a low pressure in the central Bay of Bengal.

However, the continuous drizzle was not a respite as it increased the humidity level to 99 per cent.

The clouds continued to cover the sky thereby increasing the temperature that recorded a maximum of 32.4 degree Celsius which was five degrees high than the last days and a minimum of 29 degree Celsius.

The weathermen have predicted heavy rains in the next 48 hours.
