Indian nationals from Lebanon arrive in Mumbai
Mumbai, Jul 21: As many as 261 Indians, who were stranded in conflict-torn Lebanon, arrived here late tonight by a special Air India flight.
The Indian Navy had assisted in shifting these Indian nationals from Lebanon to Cyprus from where they were air-lifted, an Air India spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said that arrangements would be made to reach these evacuees, who mostly hail from the South, to their respective places tomorrow morning.
Earlier, at 2300 hrs, the first batch of 341 evacuees had landed at the Anna International airport in Chennai.
