Gold, silver decline on thin buying support

Mumbai, July 22: Prices of silver and gold declined on thin buying support in the opening session, according to traders at the bullion market.

Following were today's opening rates : Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade : Rs 17,470, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint: : Rs 9,445, Gold 99.9 purity variety : Rs 9,490.
