Torrents in isolated places predicted in Sikkim

Gangtok, Jul 21 (UNI) Heavy rains are likely to occur at isolated places of Sikkim during the next 24 hours, the local met office predicted.

The sky will reamin generally cloudy with the possibility of moderate rains in some places. Chances of heavy fog in higher hills during the period also cannot be ruled out.

The state recorded a rainfall of 34.6 mm during the past 24 hours.

The Minimum temperature was 17.7 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature was 19.9 degree Celsius.
