Torrent Pharmaceuticals Q1 net down 5.78 pc to Rs 31.42 crore

Mumbai, July 21 (UNI) Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 31.42 crore for the quarter ended June 30, as compared to Rs 33.35 crore for the corresponding quarter ended June 30 last year, a decline of 5.78 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 188.54 crore in Q1 FY 05-06 to Rs 211.16 crore for Q1 FY 06-07.
