Three, including 2 children, detained for AIIMS bomb hoax call
New Delhi, July 21 (UNI) Police have detained three persons, including two children, in connection with the July 19 hoax bomb call made at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
Lokesh Bansal, a medicine supplier residing in Uttam Nagar area of West Delhi, was detained along with his two children -- eight and ten years of age -- after the call was traced, according to a senior police official.
''The children had made the call in fun and out of curiosity using their father's phone.'' They are being sent for counselling after which they would be released, he added.
Panic had spread at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences here after police received a call of a bomb being planted at the prestigious institution on July 19 morning.
