New Delhi, July 21 (UNI) NDA MPs will march to Rashtrapati Bhavan on July 24 and hand over a memorandum to President A P J Abdul Kalam seeking the dismissal of the UPA government for its failure to stop incidents like Mumbai bomb blasts and curb price rise.
BJP Parliamentary Party Spokesperson and Delhi MP V K Malhotra said NDA leaders, including former Prime Minister A B Vajpayee, former Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani and former Defence Minister George Fernandes, would march from Vijay Chowk to Rashtrapati Bhavan before the Monsoon session of Parliament began on Monday.
A memorandum would be handed over to the President seeking the dismissal of the UPA government for its failure to stop incidents like Mumbai bomb blasts and curb price rise.
The Bharatiya Janata Party also proposes to move as many as 80 notices during the Parliament session on issues ranging from ISI activities in India, Pakistan's continued support to terrorists, the naxal problem, suicide by farmers, wrong depiction of Hindu gods/godesses in history books and Congress involvement in war room leak and food-for-oil cases, besides Mumbai bomb blasts and rise in prices of essential commodities.
A meeting would be held at Mr Vajpayee's residence on Sunday to chalk out their strategy for the session, Mr Malhotra added.
