Relay hunger strike by Bar members enters second day

Dharwad, Karnataka, July 21 (UNI) Relay hunger strike by the members of the Dharwad Bar Association continued for the second day today against the inordinate delay in starting civil works of the proposed circuit bench of the Karnataka High Court at WALMI, near here.

Boycotting court proceedings, the other members of the Bar took out a procession to the Government offices complex and forcibly locked the offices after asking the employees to leave, for the second consecutive day. Bar President B D Hiremath led the procession.

The law college students, supporting the stir, resorted to road blockade, affecting vehicular traffic for over three hours.
