Punjab CPI protest price rise
Kapurthala, July 21 (UNI) The Communist Party of India (CPI) workers today staged dharnas in front of the office of Deputy Commissioner here and at other places in Punjab in protest against the rising prices of essential commodities.
The leaders during the protests held the government responsible for the price hike.
Besides, the price rise, the party actvists were also protesting against the frequent power cuts in the state.
