Mumbai blast: Two suspects arrested in Bihar

Patna, Jul 21: In a major break through in the recent serial Mumbai blasts, the police arrested two suspected persons and took them to Mumbai by a special plane today.

Police said Md Kalam and Md Khalil were arrested in a joint operation with the Mumbai police. Both the suspects were brought to Patna late last night and flown to Mumbai by a special plane this morning.

The arrested would be produced in a court in Mumbai during the day and later interrogated on remand.

Earlier, Md Akram, another suspect involved with the blast was arrested from Dangra village under Mohanpur police station of Gaya.

Md Akram is a teacher in a Madrasa at Mysore and he resembled one of those whose pictures had been published in newspapers, police said.
