Junior assistant arrested in bribary case

Hyderabad, Jul 21 (UNI) The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths today arrested a junior assistant in Revenue Department on charges of accepting bribery, at Chennur in Kadapa district, here.

According to an ACB release, C Laxminarayana, a junior assistant of Mandal Revenue Officer, was trapped while accepting Rs 800 as bribe from the complainant. The tainted amount was recovered from the arrestee.

The accused would be produced before Special Judge for ACB cases, Nellore, the release added.
