Improve law and order in Bihar: Congress

Patna, Jul 21 (UNI) Bihar Congress today said that the new Industrial Policy, announced by the NDA government, will not yield positive results unless the law and order situation in the state improved.

State Congress Chief Spokesperson Prem Chandra Mishra said here that industrial policy would attract entrepreneurs but they would not be able to do their businesss properly due to poor law and order situation.

He recalled that state Road Construction Minister Nand Kishore Yadav had assured that the people of the state to fill up all the potholes in 10 days.

''People of Bihar are still waiting for fulfilment of promises of the minister,'' he added.

Mr Mishra alleged that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had promised to check criminal activities within three months of coming into power but could not fulfil his promise.

''People of Bihar are feeling cheated by false promises of the NDA government,'' he added.
