'Heavy rain in MP
Bhopal, July 21 (UNI) The entire state has been witnessing rainfall and the Regional Meteorological Centre has predicted downpours in several parts in the next 24 hours.
The monsoon was strong over Ujjain and Gwalior divisions overnight. Precipitation was recorded at many places in Rewa, Jabalpur, Sagar and Indore divisions. The figures were Neemuch and Guna 8 cm each, Satna, Garoth, Bhanpur and Ashoknagar 6 each, Sehore, Aagar, Chachora and Datia 5 cm each.
For about a week, rain is gracing the entire state while only isolated showers were recorded for roughly the preceding fortnight.
In the state capital, a morning drizzle escalated into downpours in the afternoon. Madhya Pradesh's commercial capital Indore witnessed an approximately four-hour-long downpour.
Several locations in Bhopal, Indore, Hoshangabad and Ujjain divisions are likely to experience thundershowers over the next 24 hours. Downpours have been predicted at some stations in Gwalior, Chambal, Sagar, Rewa and Jabalpur divisions.
