Federal Bank Q1 net down 17.46 pc

Mumbai, July 21 (UNI) Federal Bank Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 40.18 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 48.68 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005, down 17.46 per cent.

Announcing the results, the Bank said its total income has increased from Rs 389.50 crore in Q1 FY 05-06 to Rs 462.52 crore for Q1 FY 06-07.
