Das impressed with eco-friendly atmosphere in VSP

Visakhapatnam, July 21 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Steel Akhilesh Das today inspected various production units of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP).

VSP Chairman and Managing Director Y Siva Sagar Rao and other senior officials explained to the minister the latest technology being used in the plant and its achievements.

Mr Das also paid a visit to the model room housed in the Executive Director (Works) building inside the plant. He was very much impressed with the eco-friendly measures taken in the plant.

The minister held a meeting with the reresentatives of steel executives association and Women in Public Sector (WIPS) here.

He would meet the leaders and representtives of various trade unions before leaving tomorrow.
