Two students kidnapped; recovered in Steel city

Jamshedpur, July 20 (UNI) Two students of a reputed English medium school here were kidnapped from the school premises today but later reunited with their parents by police.

Police said the abductors picked up Mohit and Rohit Agrawal, both cousins and studying in standard one of Narbheram Hansraj English School, after the school was over and then whisked away in a van.

As the children did not reach home, the anxious parents reported the matter to the school authorities, who lodged an FIR with the Bistupur police station.

The police immediately swung into action and informed all the police stations in the district and finally managed to trace the van on NH 33 under Ghatshila sub-division and recovered the students.

Police arrested three people and handed over the students to their parents.
