Sensex up over 350 points in intra-noon trade
Mumbai, July 20 (UNI) Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) sensitive index (Sensex) has maintained its positive streak after making a strong opening today.
Currently, the Sensex is up 351 points at 10,359 as buying in the Banking, IT and Teck sectors resumed.
Investors are bullish and seem to have taken the West Asia crisis in their stride as a global phenomenon.
In sectoral indices, midcap, smallcap, tech, PSU, auto, banking, metal, IT, FMCG and capital goods were performing extremely well and have grown between 1.10 to a 5.23 per cent.
Major gainers in the intra-noon trade are Reliance Communications, SBI, ICICI, Tata Motors and HDFC Bank, all up between 4.8 to 6.15 per cent.
The losers are Raymond, Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Forge and Heavy Earth Movers, all down between 0.05 to 1.15 per cent.
