SBI Mutual Fund gets Awaaz Consumer Award 2006

New Delhi, July 20 (UNI) SBI Mutual Fund was awarded the ''most preferred Mutual Fund'' at the CNBC Awaaz Consumer Awards 2006, based on the survey conducted by AC Nielson-Org Marg.

Company's Managing Director Deepak Chawla recieved the award, which was based on a consumer survey, spread over 21 cities in 14 states, through a structured questionnaire. In the survey, 10,000 respondents chose most preferred brands from 41 product and services categories.

''SBI Mutual Fund has been consistently spreading the awareness about mutual funds by investor education campaigns through the media and this has successfully raised awareness among the investors across the country'' the MD said.

SBI Mutual Fund has an investor base of over 20 lakh spread over 29 schemes.
