PayMate India Pvt Ltd ties up with Citibank and Euronet

Mumbai, July 20 (UNI) PayMate India Pvt Ltd, a mobile commerce solutions company spun off by Coruscant Tec,has collaborated with Citibank and Euronet to launch an exclusive mobile payment solution called PayMate. PayMate offers an easy, efficient and secure method of payment and is being used by Citibank for its customers.

To use PayMate Citibank customers need to sign up for this service with the bank by simply sending''PayMate'' as an SMS to 2484. The customer will then be called bank and registered for the service following which they can conveniently shop at Rediff, Naukari, Cleartrip, Jeevansaathi and 99 Acres for thier products.

PayMate offers a secure payment solution as on credit/debit card information is ever disclosed during the transaction process.

PayMate Founder&MD Mr Ajay Adiseshann told reporters here today,''We are initially offering PayMate with Rediff, Naukri,Cleartrip,Jeevansaathi and 99 Acres and are already in talks with several other service providers thereby giving customers giving customers' greater options.A mobile payment platform such as PayMate could potentially see users buy their airline tickets, railways tickets, shop online for all their personal needs such as groceries, apparels and others.It would eliminate the need for consumers to get stuck in traffic jams on their way to the shopping arcade, making their easier and giving them more time to spend with loved ones''.
