Patna-New Delhi Shramjivi blast case:Fixing of charges tomorrow
Jaunpur, July 20 (UNI) The court will tomorrow frame charges in last year's Patna-New Delhi Shramjivi Express bomb blast case.
The bomb blast on July 28, 2005 near Singramau railway station in Jaunpur had claimed at least 14 lives, while about 90 people wounded.
Meanwhile, the three accused Obaid-ur-Rehman, Hilal-ud-din and Nafikul were produced before district and sessions judge R P Tripathi under tight security.
On their plea, the court appointed Dhirendra Kumar Chaturvedi as 'Nyay Mitra' (amicus curiae) to represent the trio in court.
Later, the trio were sent to jail under judicial custody.
Hilal-ud-din and Nafikul had been brought here from Cherallapalli Central Jail, Andhra Pradesh under a warrant in May.
Obaid-ur-Rehman -- a native of Bangladesh -- was brought from Murshidabad in West Bengal.
