Panchayat secretary trapped by ACB

Hyderabad, Jul 20 (UNI) The agents of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught Panchayat Secretary, Terannapalli village D Naga Krishnaiah, when he received a bribe of Rs 500 for issue of pattadar passbooks.

An ACB release said that he was caught red handed by the ACB officials at his residence in Tadipatri mandal when he demanded and accepted an amount of Rs 500 as illegal gratification from the complainant, K Laxmanna, resident of Nandapadu village in Tadipatri mandal, for issue of pattadar passbooks to the wife and mother-in-law of the complainant.

The tainted amount of Rs 500 was seized at the instance of A.O.

The chemical test conducted on the right hand fingers of the A.O.

yielded positive results.

The A.O. was arrested and produced before the Honorable Principal Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases at Hyderabad, the release added.
