Nitish felicitates industrialists

Patna, Jul 20 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today felicitated more than one hundred industrialists for their contributions to allround development of the state.

Addressing a function here, Mr Kumar said the role of industrialists assumed more significance as despite the poor law and order situation and hostile conditions during the 15-year Lalu-Rabri regime, they had worked hard for the economic growth of the state.

In an oblique reference to allegations by leader of the opposition in the Assembly Ms Rabri Devi about the poor condition of her official residence, the Chief Minister said someone was complaining about the leaking roof without being concerned about those who were forced to live in the open for want of dwelling units.

Castigating LJP President and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan for criticising NDA government for its alleged failure on development front, Mr Kumar said that the LJP leader, who could not even succeed in opening Barauni fertiliser plant had no moral right to cast aspersions on state government. He said that Bihar was fast moving on development path but some people were deliberately ignoring it and misleading the people.
