MP Assly to discuss law and order situation tomorrow

Bhopal, July 20 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Ishwardas Rohani today conceded to the opposition demand for a discussion on the deteriorating law and order situation in the state.

During zero hour, Leader of Opposition in assembly Jamuna Devi and Samajwadi Party legislator Sunilam raised the matter saying the state capital was not a safe place in view of increasing incidents of loot and dacoity.

Raising the demand for a discussion over the issue, Ms Devi said opposition members had given notice for an adjournment motion in the regard. Other Congress members also supported the demand.

Opposition members had also raised the issue during zero hour yesterday.

Mr Rohani assured that a debate over the issue would be held tomorrow.
