Kolhapur rivers overflowing
Kolhapur, July 20 (UNI) All rivers in Kolhapur, including the chief Panchganga River, were in spate following resumption of rains since the past two days.
Vehicular traffic was also affected in some parts of the district due to water logging, district collectorate sources said here today.
The highest rainfall of 71 mm was recorded in Gaganbavada tehsil during last 24 hours while the average rainfall recorded in the district was 23.08 mm.
Water levels in various reservoirs, including Radhanagari which is the main drinking water source here, are rising, sources added.
