Kalam gets threatening e-mail
New Delhi, July 20 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam has received an e-mail which threatens to 'eliminate' him, according to Rashtrapati Bhavan sources.
The sources declined to disclose the full contents of the mail or the name or address of the sender. However, they confirmed that it was received by the President on his personal e-mail address.
The e-mail message has been forwarded to intelligence agencies.
Ever since the Mumbai serial blast occurred on July 11, many threatening telephone calls have been received by the authorities at various monuments and installations which have, however, turned out to be hoax.
The President had visited Mumbai on Tuesday to lead the nation in paying homage to those killed in the serial blasts which occurred in local trains exactly a week earlier.
